Sometimes things come into your life at the right time and I was ready for something that pacified my desire to work in some capacity while still being present for all the little kid moments. I didn’t have to choose between going back to work and staying home with my kids when becoming a S&D stylist. I wasn’t signing up for the military. I wasn’t signing up for some major commitment that I couldn’t get myself out of if I decided against it later.
I have been actively building my spring wardrobe right now for my busy days of kindergarten pick up and gymnastics classes, but occasionally I’ll have a fun girl’s night or a getaway trip that requires me to look like my life is way cooler than it is. Growing up I was never the girl that ditched her friends when she had a boyfriend. No, I was always the friend that wanted to hang with friends. So it goes without saying that when I’ve had a falling out with a friend, a break up if you will, it’s particularly crushing for me. I can count friend break ups on less than one hand, but they stick with me forever.
