Growing up I was never the girl that ditched her friends when she had a boyfriend. No, I was always the friend that wanted to hang with friends. So it goes without saying that when I’ve had a falling out with a friend, a break up if you will, it’s particularly crushing for me. I can count friend break ups on less than one hand, but they stick with me forever.
I try to stick with looks that can carry me through a season or two, and accessorize to change up the vibe. So I thought I’d do a post sharing my Six Wardrobe Staples for the Stylish Mom, because hello, moms want to be stylish while operating that mini van!
What I take away from my time in California is a great deal of tolerance and acceptance. I need to talk less and listen more. I need to have empathy for people with different backgrounds than me and attempt to understand why they feel the way they do.
